Challenges to the evangelizing mission in Africa, at the time of Covid-19
The fundamental dynamic of the mission, which is to announce the Good News of salvation: starting from this awareness, the Catholic communities in Africa will have to rethink some great perspectives of their missionary activity in the light of the Covid-19 crisis. If the African continent is one of the least infected continents by Covid-19, it remains one of the continents most affected by this global health crisis, which has had an impact on all levels. Today, like many African institutions, the churches of Africa, also strongly affected by this global health crisis, will have to take up the challenge of reinventing themselves in continuity.
The Churches in Africa will have to rethink some great perspectives of their missionary activity in the light of the Covid-19 crisis. The Missionary Month of October is therefore an opportunity to open up reflection on the major projects to be rebuilt for the full development of African churches in their missionary activity.
