Taizè – A European Meeting in two successive stages: online at the end of 2021 and together in Turin in July 2022

With the new restrictions link to the evolution of the pandemic, it will unfortunately not be possible for the European Meeting to take place in Turin in the way we had hoped. We are very sorry not to be able to welcome at the end of the year everyone who has already organised their journey and we would like to thank the churches and people of Turin for all the efforts they made over the past months.

This year, exceptionally, the European Meeting will take place in two successive stages.

Between 28 December 2021 and 1 January 2022, an online meeting will take place. There will be broadcasts from Turin, with some brothers and the participation of young people from the region. Those who wish to participate will be able to do so via the internet. The programme will be published in the near future.

Then, from 7 to 10 July 2022, the Churches of Turin invite the young people of Europe to come in large numbers to this new stage of the Pilgrimage of Trust on Earth. Participants will stay with families and parishes in the area, and will meet for prayers, sharing and workshops. Young people who wish to do so will be able to stop for a few days in Taizé on their way to Turin or after the meeting on their way back.
