For South Asia, following the path already undertaken for some years and starting from the Conference that took place in Rome, from October 17th to 22th, 2022, with the participation of the Provincial and Regional Councils of this territorial reality, the path of discernment continues with different stages:
- the Assemblies in different countries;
- all the sisters’ voting and consultation;
- the celebration of the Inter-Territorial Assembly that will take place in Rome, from June 18th to 23rd, 2023,
and will lead to the establishment of a single Province, with the appointment of a single Provincial Council serving six countries: India, Indonesia, Laos, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Dear sisters, rethinking our territorial organization will allow us to follow paths of closeness, dialogue, solidarity and thus be able to support and develop more and more together the mission of the whole Congregation, because we are one body, one family.
Let us always remember that change begins with love for something important, such as love for my vocation, love for the Church, love for the Congregation, love for the Charism, love for the poor… When the path excites us, we never get tired of treading it.
