In the church of Yên Đại, on 12 June 2023, three young Vietnamese pronounced their Yes forever among the Sisters of Charity.

Since 2000, Joan Antida’s motto, “God Alone”, has been adopted by many young people: “Chỉ Chúa mà thôi”.

Catholics in Vietnam are only 7% of the population, but they are a lively, convinced, young minority. The three Sisters of Charity who have just been consecrated to the Lord for the service and evangelisation of the poor will now take a full part in the life of that church born from the blood of martyrs: 117 priests, bishops, religious, missionaries and lay people killed during various persecutions in Tonkin, Cocincina and Annam between 1745 and 1862.
