On Sunday 25 August 2024, the Lord’s Day and the day after the birth in Heaven of St Jeanne Antide, the Lord called to Himself our very dear sister Noha Najjar.
Heaven is celebrating to welcome her into the fullness of Life, and our hearts mourn her departure.
Yes, sorrow mingles with the hope of resurrection.
Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in the chapel of St Jeanne Antide in Kfour on Monday 26 August at 9.00am.
In communion with all our sisters in the Congregation who knew her and loved her, and with her family members near and far, we ask God for rest for her soul.
Christ is Risen, Alleluia!
We stand by our Lebanese communities at this time of grave uncertainty and danger: on the night of Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 August, Israeli forces launched a large-scale air offensive against Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
We join all men and women of goodwill who call for peace.
