In Termoli and Foggia, the local AJA groups solemnly celebrated the 225th anniversary of the foundation of the Sisters of Charity.
In Termoli at the end of the afternoon meeting to pay homage to our dear Saint Jeanne Antide we were all happy with our hearts full of enthusiasm and charity.
Sister Lidia was very good at preparing a table with many objects recalling the story of St Joan Antide. First a beautiful photo of her, next to a candle that had arrived from Sancey, whose flame conveyed the Saint’s faith. The notebooks and thus the education she gave to young girls, the apron and thus the service to the poor.
There were also the medicines that Jeanne Antide always prepared to cure the poor, the Bible, the word of God that filled her whole life.
We experienced this day in a special way and all thanks to dear Sister Lidia and the participation of the Friends.
In Foggia, the AJA Group, which animates prayer and visits the sick in the hospital, renewed the AJA Promise during the Eucharistic celebration in the hospital.
