Hospital St. Jeanne-Antide de Gala: with some of the Hospital’s volunteers, on World Earth Day, a small gesture wants to make ‘the difference’.
Convinced that a mother gives life and makes the child, who as an adult supports and cares for his or her mother, grow up as ‘children’ of ‘Mother Earth’ in the region of Ngaoundal, Cameroon, Sr Pauline, with some volunteers from the Hospital, dedicated a morning to planting some trees.
They were moved by a dream: if we take care of these trees, they will grow and provide shade, alleviating the walkers’ walk, making the air less dry and helping other plants to resist the hot and dry climate that affects our Region every year.
Plant and care…. For our children…. For our grandchildren… so that the Common House regains its life force.
