On September 7, 2024, Sister Festina, Sister Teresa and Sister Maria consecrated their lives forever to the Lord, in the Church, serving the poor among the Sisters of Charity.
On the eve of their Profession, the SdC communities of Rome prepared together for this event of grace with a Prayer Vigil “I am the true vine. Abide in me,” filled with songs, prayers of praise and signs that recalled the primacy of God, fraternal life and mission.
The solemn and festive celebration the following afternoon was presided over by His Excellency Msgr. Angelo de Donatis, Major Penitentiary, former Vicar General for the Diocese of Rome, and concelebrated by numerous priests. We thank the Christian communities of Indonesia and China respectively, from which these sisters came, their family members, the SdC communities that accompanied them during their juniorate and their formators.
At the end of the Mass, the celebration continued with a time of conviviality.
