Celebrate and act, even with the Eco-enzyme.

Sister Iki and young people from the community of Yogyakasta, Java Island, Indonesia, gathered on 24 August 2024 to celebrate a beautiful moment of prayer around the figure of Sister Jeanne Antide.

This prayer inspired them to act and they decided to spend the afternoon with other young people staying at the state orphanage. And so between laughter, chatting, games and snacks, time passed almost without realising it

But before leaving, also wanting to take care of the rubbish they produced, the young people prepared a bottle of ECO-ENZIMA with all the leftover food.

Have you heard of this product yet?

It is a process invented by Dr Rosukon of Thailand and is a solution produced by fermenting fresh kitchen waste (fruit and vegetable peels), sugar and water. It is dark brown in colour with a strong smell and has many applications in the home, agriculture, animal husbandry and many other areas. Under Dr Rosukon’s name you can find information online.

After a fermentation process, the eco-enzyme, which takes about three months, can be used as a natural household cleaner, as a treatment for various wounds, or even to improve air and water quality.

Celebrating, giving thanks, sharing, caring for our common home… these are the seeds of new life to which Jesus invites us. Seeds of hope to be sown in this Season of Creation. Congratulations young people!

We would like to emphasise that through this experience we were able to hope for a ‘perfect circle’ where prayer, animation with the little orphans and caring for our common home feed each other.
