In response to the guidelines of our 21st General Chapter, which invited us to join the International Laudato Sì Movement, on Sunday 6 February 2022, the General House welcomed the faithful and the members of the Laudato Sì – Trastevere Circle, who had come to participate in the open-air Mass celebrated in the “Creator’s Cathedral”.
The beauty of the park, the tranquillity of the place and the warm welcome of the sisters of the community of the General House, truly amazed the visitors who didn’t fail to be won over by the praise of creation!
The mass that was presided by Father Joshtrom Isaac Kureethadam – Coordinator of the Ecology and Creation Sector of the Vatican Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development – enabled the assembly to participate in the prayer of the universe. The Gospel of the miraculous catch, reminded us of the richness of our sister “water”!
In his written message, Antonio Caschetto – general coordinator of the Laudato Sì Circles in Italy – said that “we all travellers; on this path the Lord sends pilgrims, situations, friends and opportunities. He never tires of surprising us. It is in this context of “walking together” that we welcome with great joy the Sisters of Charity who have officially entered the network of the Laudato Sì Movement and who have chosen to a be a concrete sign of ecological conversion in the heart of the Eternal City.
