Several communities in different parts of the world are taking action to promote initiatives for personal and cultural transformation in the midst of our ecological and climate crises. Through Scripture texts, practical activities and daily prayers, they want to inspire significant changes in people’s interaction with the environment.
The aim is to foster a deeper respect for creation, promote sustainable habits and deepen commitment to a lifestyle that respects the work of the Creator.
Significant is the network involvement of other realities, associations, movements, as happened in Egypt, where Sister Fida wanted to involve the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations: ‘As members of WFCU, we have the opportunity to unite in solidarity and action during this week, as we face an emergency situation that requires our immediate action and constant prayer’.
Sister Marlysse sends, from Albania, photos of a panel created for Laudato Si’ Week. The panel sheet was changed daily to update the activity proposals.
From Latin America come some videos, which have been shared day after day throughout Laudato Si’ Week, along with a poster.
We will continue, in the coming days, to tell you about the activities carried out during Laudato Si’ Week throughout the SdC world.
