Sunday, May 21, Laudato Si’ Week began today.
Pope Francis during the Regina Caeli invited everyone to
“collaborating for the care of our Common Home…with competence and creativity.”
With some representatives of the Circles and the Laudato Si’ Movement, we too wanted to bear witness to this message in St. Peter’s Square.
We join Pope Francis in being close to the people affected by the flooding in Emilia Romagna, a tragic event that once again underscores the urgency to act quickly.
Precisely with the intention of raising more and more people’s awareness of the issues of integral ecology, a publication edited by the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development and the Stockholm Institute, “A Guide to Taking Care of Our Planet,” was also distributed and can be downloaded from this link.
Photos and videos coming from Sisters of Charity projects from around the world will be posted soon. You can view them all by clicking here.
