Prayer of May 2022
Let us walk together: “with a missionary dynamism”
In this month of May, our prayer with the sisters and laity, focuses on solidarity as a dynamic for the mission. In order to continue on this path, let us invoke the grace of the Spirit.
« The prayerful listening to the Word of God and the light the Word sheds on daily events make our heart all the more missionary. We hold in our hands “the Bible and the newspaper”, so that the Holy Spirit may convert our attitudes and our outlook into those of Christ, missionary of the Father..» (Acts of the General Chapter 2021, p.14)
Dwelling in the world while remaining constantly in the presence of God, our gaze is transformed and we are able to see Him in everything, especially in the least and marginalized of our societies. In this dynamic to live the mission is to participate in the Missio Dei, being intimately united to the servant and suff ering Christ. (Acts of the General Chapter 2021, p.14, note n.2)
