“In order that you may tell your children and grandchildren…” : was the title of the 54th World Day of communications, celebrated on last 24th May.
After the prayer of Regina Cœli, the Pope invited the whole world to enter within a narration of peace and hope … His message reminds us that there is no future without an integration in the actual history and that the memory is a dynamic reality because each history comes from life, from the encounter with the other.
This message, written on the 24th January, namely, four months ago, shows us a path to look at the signs of the Good News in our life, an occasion to build and narrate the past with joy and serenity.
« Human beings are storytellers because we are engaged in a process of constant growth, discovering ourselves and becoming enriched in the tapestry of the days of our life…we need a human story that can speak of ourselves and of the beauty all around us..[…] .A narrative that can regard our world and its happenings with a tender gaze. A narrative that can tell us that we are part of a living and interconnected tapestry. A narrative that can reveal the interweaving of the threads which connect us to one another.”
