More than 200 young people, thank God, have already participated in the first meeting, which was followed by two very important activities: the vocational animation of confirmands and the door-to-door mission.
1- Pastoral vocational animation in the three parishes of our city aims to animate young people preparing for confirmation to help them discover their vocations. This discernment takes place through different themes and different life testimonies. This work is carried out by the parish vocational animation team, which includes a seminarian who accompanies us.
2- We carried out the door-to-door mission, where we experienced very strong moments with the families we visited.
This time the mission was organised by the São João Bosco parish missionary team to give continuity to the mission carried out here in Nova Serrana (Brazil, State of Minas Gerais). The São Sebastião parish also organised the distribution of clothes for the poor.
Thus Pope Francis: “At this point in time, then, our common journey is bringing us to the Jubilee Year of 2025. Let us travel as pilgrims of hope towards the Holy Year, for by discovering our own vocation and its place amid the different gifts bestowed by the Spirit, we can become for our world messengers and witnesses of Jesus’ dream of a single human family, united in God’s love and in the bond of charity, cooperation and fraternity“.
