Photo contest – Season of Creation 2024

There is still time to join the photo contest on the occasion of the Season of Creation 2024.

The theme of the contest faithfully retraces that of Season of Creation: “To hope and act with Creation”.

Each participant may submit only one photo to the email:

The photo can be in color or black and white, with a horizontal orientation and in a good resolution, .png or .jpg format.

The Subject of the email must contain:

FIRST NAME – LAST NAME – COUNTRY

Attention, photos must be submitted:

no later than Sunday, September 29, 12:00 noon (Rome time)

INDISPENSABLE INFORMATION

Come Congregazione vogliamo unirci con diverse iniziative, tra le quali un racconto delle azioni messe in atto nelle comunità delle Suore della Carità nel mondo, attraverso uno strumento comunicativo forte: la fotografia.

Ci sono così tante cose “buone, piccole, semplici, amorevoli” che accadono nelle nostre comunità:

WE CHALLENGE YOU TO CATCH IN A PHOTO

The photos will be collected and will form an album within the congregation’s official website: a garden to praise the Father.

The photos will also be the subject of a photo contest, with the theme: “To hope and act with Creation”.

Four (4) images, chosen by a jury proclaimed by the Congregation, will be printed and displayed inside the garden of the General House, Rome, Via di Santa Maria in Cosmedin, 5.

The contest is open to all people and communities who wish to contribute to the visual narrative of the actions of Hope and Care for Creation.

In particular, the following are invited to participate:

the communities of the Sisters of Charity of St. Jeanne Antide present throughout the world;
the schools, university boarding schools, and educational works run by the Sisters of Charity;
the entities related to youth ministry, general pastoral activities, and the Congregation’s missions;
AJA Friends groups and lay supporters;
people interested in integral ecology issues and anyone who wants to help promote respect and care for the Common Home.
