The group of young sisters, from different parts of the world, who are preparing for their Perpetual Profession returned to Rome, General House. The sisters are accompanied by Sister Solange, General Councillor, and Sister Linda, Councillor of the Province of the Orient.

Before arriving in Rome, they stopped in Besançon, provincial house, and in Bellevaux, where they gathered in prayer at the chapel of Notre Dame des Malades.

Their experience of formation, fraternity and visit to the places of foundation continued by stopping in La Roche and Saint-Paul in Haute-Savoie, where they visited, accompanied by Sr Monique, the historical archive of the first religious province, Savoy, land of saints and vocations.

The Marian shrine of La Bénite Fontaine welcomed them for a time of silence and contemplation. The sanctuary is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Haute Savoie. It is located just outside the town of La Roche, commonly known as ‘the little Lourdes of Savoy’. In this timeless place, prayers have accompanied pilgrims since the 17th century. Stories of healing have made the sanctuary a pilgrimage destination and St Francis de Sales asked for a chapel to be built on a small promontory, dedicated to Our Lady of the Visitation.

In their last stop in Rome, the young sisters completed their spiritual and charismatic formation. They spent a day in Pozzaglia, the birthplace of St Augustine Pietrantoni, and visited the historical archives of the Generalate, guided by Dr Caroselli.

Happy journey of the life, dear sisters: Perpetual Profession marks your Yes to God, in the Church, at the service of the poor in a religious congregation, once and for all, come what may. Thank you for your free and generous donation.
