“In the East we saw his star appear, and we came here to honor him.” This is the Bible verse chosen for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (SPUC). The Week of Prayer for Unity is celebrated each year from January 18-25.
This year’s verse is taken from the Gospel of Matthew in chapter 2, is the theme of the usual appointment of the Christian churches.
The preparation of the texts for the Week has been entrusted to the Council of Churches of the Middle East based in Beirut, Lebanon.
