Sister Marlyse, an animator from Albania, who is on a time of rest and prayer in her native Switzerland, did not want to miss the opportunity arising from a visit to the houses of the elderly sisters: she therefore wanted to propose a gesture in favour of the Common House.
Thus, prayer meetings were organised with songs – The Earth weeps, Praise God, Pilgrims of Hope – with some paragraphs from Laudato Si’ and Laudate Deum, followed by a time of sharing, prayer communion with Mary and the planting of a small tree for each sister to take care of: small gestures full of hope. Planting today, thinking of future generations.
