Towards the Province Europe – Councils Conference

Borgaro Torinese, from 18 to 22 December 2023, the General Council met the two Councils of the Besançon-Savoie Province and the Euro-Mediterranean Province. Together, in an attitude of constant discernment, they are outlining the path towards the European Province.

This is how Mother General, sister Maria Rosa, addressed the sisters of the two Provinces:

“The awareness that we are the branches of the vine that is Jesus Christ, of whom God the Father is the vinedresser, must help us in our daily lives to mature a strong spirituality that enables us to live and savour an experience of faith and trust in the Lord as the lifeblood of our choice of consecrated life for the mission with the poor. When we live from God and are branches of the true Vine, we are filled with life, a life that knows how to welcome newness, that is creative, we serve better, we live with fidelity in the Lord, with humility, we rafforce the bonds between ourselves and with others”.
