Voices And Faces – The Newsletter From The SdC – December

Within the last newsletter we decided to recount the celebrations that accompanied the start of the New Year. We take this opportunity to wish that this 2024 may be a year illuminated by the charism of Charity.

During the month of December the Congregation took great steps toward the delineation of the European Province. In fact, in Borgaro Torinese, the General Council met with the two councils of the Besançon-Savoie Province and the Euro-Mediterranean Province.

Also within the newsletter were tales of the works of the Sisters of Charity, particularly through the voice of sister Anna Rosa C., who has dedicated her life to the service of her neighbor through the mission in Africa; and the voice of sister Mary S., who recounted the valuable work of the India Group.

Finally on Jan. 14 in Thakhek, Laos, the 90th anniversary of the Sisters of Charity’s presence in South Asia was celebrated.
