Voices And Faces – The Newsletter From The SdC – October

The month of October 2023 was full of news, which we collected within the monthly newsletter of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Jeanne Antide Thouret.

The news of the month concerns the holding of General Conference 2023. The event was accompanied by the image of the grapevine, a symbol of fertility and abundance, unity and communion in Christ.

On the 22nd, we celebrated Mission Day 2023 by joining sister Rosa S., a longtime missionary in Africa.

On World Teachers’ Day, Oct. 5, we wanted to tell stories of educators from Lebanon and Latin America.

During the past month we also talked about Synod, through the voice of Sister Paola N., who took part in the work in the delicate role of “facilitator”.
